Welcome to the Meigle Primary School website.

I am the Headteacher of both Meigle and Kettins Primary Schools. I have been in post since October 2019 and was permanently appointed to the position in July 2020. I take pride in the high expectations and aspirations that we have for our learners at Meigle Primary School. We encourage everyone to do their very best and provide opportunities for all to experience success in learning. We are currently revising our school values. I am ably assisted by my Principal Teacher, Mrs Fiona Tasker, together we lead the school community with enthusiasm and optimism.
I hope that you find this website useful and are able to navigate with ease to find information you may require. Please download the school app too for quick access to relevant information. We aim to work closely with our parents and wider community and communication is key.

Foodbank Collection Update

Hello Everyone

I am writing to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the very generous donations for the foodbank. I delivered our boxes this morning an it amounted to 55kg!

The team at the food bank were incredibly grateful for your efforts.

All of the donations will either go towards regular food packages or the special 'treat hampers' that will be put together and handed out to families from next week.

Thursday 18th December

This is our busy Christmas fun packed day. Pupils will be attending the Snow Queen in the morning. We expect the pupils to be in uniform for this as we are visiting another school. 
Once we return to school approximatley 12.30 the children can bring a change of clothes  party wear/pyjammas and have Christmas Lunch at the school. We will then be going up to Kinloch Hall for our Christmas Party . School will finish at usual time. Thank you. Any questions feel free to contact the school

Carol singing at Care Home Monday 15th December

No PE next Monday but could the children please wear school uniform as we are going to the care home for carol singing. Pupils will be allowed to wear  Christmas headwear only if they wish. Please ensure sensible shoes for walking and a coat with a hood if possible thank you.
